Good software is:
1. Reliable - They should work as expected
every time, all the time. Good applications
take your privacy very seriously.
2. Efficient - They should be very small,
very fast and extremely light on resources.
3. Easy to use - They should be absolutely
intuitive and should never confuse even the
newest of computer users.
4. Powerful - It is said that powerful
applications cannot be easy to use. But that
is just misguided thinking.
In my
18+ years with computers, it is very rarely
that I have seen applications that have
managed to accomplish all of the above at
the same time.
